Bandar Lampung – The successful fulfillment of the criteria set by the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA) by the Communication Studies Department of Lampung University marks a significant milestone in the sustainable development of the department.
The inaugural international accreditation contract for the Communication Studies Department, aimed at producing highly-integrous and highly competitive graduates, will be in effect for a period of five years, starting from June 21, 2023, until June 20, 2028.
The department’s transition towards an international orientation undoubtedly requires the collaboration of all academic members to ensure that every institutional aspect maintains the established standards. The process of internationalizing the department has undergone a meticulous preparation to demonstrate that the accreditation criteria have been met since September 26, 2022.
As part of the lengthy process, prior to the official FIBAA accreditation, on March 6, 2023, the Communication Studies Department conducted a visiting meeting with FIBAA representatives via the Zoom application. The meeting lasted for three consecutive days until March 9, 2023.
“The quality of the Communication Studies Department has been further proven to be excellent. Get ready for increased competition in the coming years,” said one student, Jovita Farah, expressing her impressions about the latest departmental accreditation.
Another student, Reza Gustifa, added, “The fact that our department has achieved FIBAA accreditation serves as proof that our program deserves to be compared with universities abroad.”
